You’ve been spending some time working on yourself, by yourself, and have built up a pretty positive relationship with yourself as a result. The fact you’ve been able to dedicate some focus to yourself and look within has made you much more capable and grounded than you feel. 

Crossing You – The Emperor.

There are issues with authority that you are working through. These could be issues with your father, or that you are trying to work through the way you wield authority at your work or within your life. You could even be struggling with some facets of traditional masculine roles.  

The Past – 10 of Cups.

One of the reasons you may be feeling so overwhelmed is just how joyful things were recently. You can remember when things were going well, the contentment and peace that you felt – and what you are experiencing is very different from that safety and security. 

The Future – 8 of Pentacles.

In the near future you’ll find yourself very engaged in skill-building work. This is the sort of work that can feel like drudgery if you don’t love what you do. Getting back to the basics and spending disciplined focus to learn the finer points of craft is a great way to ground yourself when you feel overwhelmed. It’s vital that you get time to get the rest and recuperation that you need so you can work through the issues that you have, but you’ve been having issues getting the rest you need, and it’s making your time away feel more isolating than you’d like.

Things are out of balance, and despite the fact that you’re poised to make sense of the chaos, you’re struggling to maintain the emotional equilibrium you need to navigate a very complex time. Part of the overwhelming feeling is that you are giving too much to something that isn’t worth your time and energy. As you take your time to strategize and process your feelings of being overwhelmed, make sure you are investing your energy in ways that will ultimately help you reach your goals.

The situation you are in is causing so much anxiety and overwhelm that it’s hard for you to think of anything but. There’s no moment that you feel safe and secure, and because you are constantly on edge, you’re not able to get the rest that you need to think your way through. Anxiety is such a difficult emotion to work through, and it can really dial up the intensity of being overwhelmed. When things start to feel like they are closing in on you, practice some grounding exercises.

You’re hoping that you’ll be able to work through all the issues that you’re facing. You feel as if you’ve been able to do it before. If you can keep yourself grounded and focused, you are hopeful you’ll find that after all your current challenges, getting to the other side of this impossible-feeling obstacle is far easier than you think.

Outcome – The Empress.
