A Tarot Guide To How Each Zodiac Can Strengthen Their Intuition

You can use this guide for your Rising Sign, or your Moon sign if you don’t know it. You can use the birth chart calculator here if you don’t know yours off the top of your head!

Our tarot reader has selected two cards to help you deepen your relationship with your intuition. Those two cards represent what to embrace, and what to let go

Aries

What to Embrace: Ace of Pentacles. You’ve been doing the hard work to connect with and strengthen your intuition, Aries, and it’s working for you! Meditation will help you learn how to interpret the many signals your body and mind send for your interpretation, and are a great way to strengthen your intuition.

What to Let Go: Two of Cups, Reversed. The best way to engage with your intuition is when you are and a state of emotional balance and harmony. Drama, and other wastes of emotional energy will drain you and block your ability to connect with your intuition.

Taurus

What to Embrace: Ace of Wands, Reversed. Engaging with your intuition is going to feel a little ‘crunchy’ and a little ‘out there’ for you, Taurus. You might question if it’s working, and because it’s up to your interpretation, you’re nervous you might not be ‘doing it right.’ Trust yourself – you are your best guide through this process. Investigate deeply where your consciousness leads you.

What to Let Go: Eight of Swords, Reversed. This isn’t about skill, or a pattern of thought. It’s about trust and faith in yourself to have the still, soft voice of intuition inside. Trying to think your way into intuition isn’t the way to go. Trust is.

Gemini

What to Embrace: Judgement. You’ll be able to connect with your intuition once you are able to hear the call to be your authentic self. Without living your truth, you’ll experience too much emotional chaos, and you won’t be able to hear the voice of your intuition. Follow the call to your purpose and align yourself with your values, Gemini, and your inner voice will be far easier to hear.

What to Let Go: Temperance, Reversed. You can’t achieve balance by whipping quickly between the extremes. Seek true harmony, reject the cacophony of distractions.

Cancer

What to Embrace: King of Pentacles, Reversed. Enjoy the fact that you aren’t in control of every part of your intuitive progression, and that there are no milestones, or even a schedule. Understanding how life can ebb and flow, weaken us and then empower us contains wisdom that will help you deepen your intuition. What you need to embrace, Cancer, is letting go.

What to Let Go: Judgement. You’re going to need to embrace some change on this one, instead of holding on to your old habits. This isn’t something you can create a project plan for.

Leo

What to Embrace: The Lovers, Reversed. Relationships offer us a novel way of exploring spiritual avenues and connections. You may find a lot of insight into how you can connect with your intuition by observing and analyzing your spiritual connections with people, Leo. This doesn’t mean make your experience of your intuition dependent on someone else, but instead to understand how your compassion and sympathy with others so often leads you to a truth.

What to Let Go: Queen of Swords, Reversed. This isn’t a situation where you can get where you are going by mentally dominating a task.

Virgo

What to Embrace: Page of Pentacles, Reversed. You know that this isn’t something that you can learn from a book or by common, physical paths, Virgo. What you’re seeking is an internal, spiritual answer and there’s no way to pin it down with dates or expectations. Embrace the confidence of knowing that the answer and the power is there, within you, even if you can’t fully access it yet. Ignore the chatter of your inner critic, and have faith in yourself.

What to Let Go: Page of Cups, Reversed.  Let go of your fear of vulnerability, the work you need to engage in requires an open heart.

Libra

What to Embrace: King of Pentacles. Your intuition is most likely to manifest through physical signs. Often intuitive physical signs can be in the stomach in the form of butterflies or the feeling of heaviness or emptiness. It can also manifest as auras, a particular mental twinge, or other manifestations. Deepening your relationship with your intuition should include exploring these physical signs.

What to Let Go: Queen of Swords. This isn’t a mental exercise. Intuition isn’t connected to balanced reason and logic, Libra. The road you forge to deepen your intuition and strengthen your sense of your inner voice probably won’t make logical sense, because it isn’t only grounded in the mind.

Scorpio

You have two Tens, Scorpio, which is a big indicator that, intuitively, you are ending cycles and seeking to start a new inner practice. Tens are cards that indicate the culmination of the action of a particular suit.

What to Embrace: Ten of Swords. It’s over, and it’s time to acknowledge that so you can move on. The old narratives and old stories that you’ve told yourself are done now. It’s time for you to move on, really truly move on – which means a clean mental slate.

What to Let Go: Ten of Wands. Lighten your load. You’re carrying a lot forward with you, and many of the burdens that you bear aren’t yours. It’s over, remember? It’s time to let them go.

Sagittarius

What to Embrace: Eight of Swords. The best way for you to strengthen your intuition is by exploring what you feel your blind spots are. The next time you feel trapped, Sagittarius, reframe it as an opportunity to trace that feeling to the source, and see where those feelings lead next. Intuition isn’t deepened in spaces where there is certainty and predictability.

What to Let Go: Five of Wands. You won’t feel safe enough to explore your vulnerabilities and blind spots if you also feel like you’re under attack. It’s time to let go of the infighting and competition, and focus your energy within.

Capricorn

What to Embrace: Eight of Swords. Where you feel vulnerable is where you are most likely to find a path towards your intuition, Capricorn. You’re more likely to hear the inner voice of intuition more clearly when you’re in a situation full of unknowns. It’s in the silence you’ll hear it.

What to Let Go: The Hierophant. There are a lot of traditional paths and teachings, and if you’re trying to learn something new, it won’t serve you to come at it with your head full of other lessons. Let go of the traditional path and traditional ways. Trust your own journey and your process, and have faith in yourself and your wisdom, instead of focusing that faith outwards.

Aquarius

What to Embrace: Seven of Pentacles. You’re already highly intuitive, Aquarius, and strengthening your intuition and deepening your relationship with it will take a long-term effort. There are things that can only be experienced over time, and as you work with your intuition and observe it through several cycles of challenge and success, you’ll learn how it communicates with you the most.

What to Let Go: King of Swords. While you may be analyzing your experiences for patterns, this doesn’t mean that you’ll be able to intellectually dominate this situation.

Pisces

What to Embrace: King of Swords. It’s time for you to make a structured effort towards strengthening your intuition. That means coming up with a schedule for meditation, and planning out an approach based on your prior experiences. Embrace the process of learning what such a structure would even look like – it will challenge you to understand what you believe the best path towards a stronger relationship with your intuition would look like.

What to Let Go: Page of Wands. There’s so much activity around you, and so much that inspires you, and you’re going to have to let them go for now. If you truly want to focus on your intuition, it’s going to require your whole focus.
